Our Story
The original KingHale Gallery was established on Main Street in 2001 in downtown Sarasota, Florida. Not long after, the artworks relocated to Clark Road where double doors were installed between the new gallery and a neighboring French restaurant for a pleasant dine-and-view experience.
Artist Elizabeth King Hale moved to Colorado in 2008 with her family and integrated her artworks into KingHale Gallery's southwest sister business, 'Santa Fe Pony Express', which was operated inside the carnival-like marketplace, Jackalope, in Santa Fe, NM. This sister gallery got its name from the fact that Elizabeth would Pony Express her herd of Horses from Pagosa Springs, CO, across Georgia O'keeffe's "Great Faraway" to Santa Fe NM!
Now, over twenty years later, KingHale Gallery has returned to Florida and has found its current home in Historic Downtown Tarpon Springs. The storefront features original fine art in concert with Southwest treasures by Santa Fe Pony Express. Additionally, the gallery recently unveiled the 'Off-The-Wall' online collection, which takes the artworks and prints them onto practical decor such as blankets, pillows, etc. You won't find art like this in any other store!
Over the years the KingHale Gallery horses have found homes all over the world and the new herd would love to meet you!
